HEY, I’M KATELYN! 💙

I’m the owner of Hidden Harbor Salon, which I actively took over in 2022. I’ve been doing hair for 5 years and nails for 1 year, but my love for creativity has been part of me for as long as I can remember.

​

Whether I’m changing my own hair color, creating a new look for a client, or making something completely from scratch, I’ve always loved having a creative outlet. To me, hair is more than just hair — it’s art, self-expression, and a way to help someone feel amazing in their own skin.

​

I know what it feels like to struggle with confidence and not always feel your best. That’s a big part of why I love what I do. I want my clients to have a place where they can come in, relax, be themselves, and leave feeling a little more confident than when they walked through the door.

Color is definitely my happy place. 🎨 I look at every color appointment like a giant art project — creating something unique, customized, and completely you.

But honestly, being behind the chair has never been just about the money for me. It’s about the relationships I build with my clients and being someone they can count on. Sometimes you need a stylist, sometimes you need a listening ear, and sometimes you just need a place to escape for a little while. I want Hidden Harbor to be that place.

When I’m not behind the chair or working on the salon, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, hanging out with my boyfriend JT, or being a full-time cat mom to my cats, Felix &  Nelly. 🐈‍⬛
